Henschel Hat Company | Outback Leather Hiker Hat

I got mine 2nd hand, this is the best hat that’s ever been on my head.
I will say for sure I will purchase another one or Two.

A friend of mine had past away and his widow gave me this hat as a gift knowing I was close to him, it’s comfortable, survived lots of wear in the woods and weather. If something ever happens to this hat will definitely buy a replacement

Bought a hat similar to this in 1974. wore it practically out in three years of logging in colorado west of ft collins. it was worn every day always mostly for three year has no metal breathe holes or rivit on the band. the leather is stitched over and around the top, and left over the right in the back. would like to have a new 3/8 inch brim stitched on the leather cleaned and reformed and restitched together again. my favorite hat ever it protected my head from limbs better than a hard hat. cut the wood for the movie Centennial with my buddy Willie one summer. have any thoughts on repairs for it?

Great quality, but seems impossible to form. The bill ends up lopsided as it waves around your head in a curving motion. Reforming over and over only to give up, wearing a lopsided hat I suppose. Luckily I'm usually in the woods when I wear it.
